Harley announces World Champs backing
Harley-Davidson has agreed to become an Official Partner of AMD's World Championship of Custom Bike Building and, in an additional measure of support for the event, will be lending its considerable promotional powers to the World Championship program as title sponsor of the Modified Harley Class.
AMD was contacted by Harley in April with a view to exploring opportunities to help promote the event in general, and to developing the Modified Harley class in particular.

ACCEL sponsors Official World Championship Production Manufacturer class, launches SLM EFi controller
ACCEL Motorcycle has announced a new fuel injection tuner and, to promote its user-friendly package of contemporary features, the company has announced sponsorship of the Production Manufacturer class at this year's 6th annual Official World Championship of Custom Bike Building.
Called the 'SLM' (Self Learning Module), the company says that it is designed to help riders 'regain control of their fuel injected ride', delivering improved gas mileage while 'increasing power torque and reducing emissions for stock and modified applications'.

Ace Cafe returns to Sturgis

Kids & Chrome becomes Official Charity of World Championship
The World Championship of Custom Bike Building has formalized the relationship of support it has had with the Kids & Chrome Charity in the Black Hills, SD, area by endorsing it as its Official Charity.
Celebrating its 5th anniversary this year, AMD Magazine and the World Championship have supported the charity since Kids & Chrome started so spectacularly in 2005.

Göth takes Scandinavian Championship in Norrtälje, Sweden
Twin Club MC's 35th annual Custom Bike Show, one of the World Championship's oldest Affiliate events, defied poor weather forecasts (and the recession) to pull healthy crowds and, as usual, a good standard of custom bike originality and variety.
